How fights are settled
Decision means the judges' cards at the end of the scheduled rounds: unanimous, split or majority. KO is a fighter who cannot continue after legal strikes. TKO is a stoppage by the referee, doctor or corner. Submission is a tap or a verbal quit. A technical submission is a referee stoppage because a fighter is unconscious or in immediate danger in a hold. A technical decision is a stoppage for an accidental foul after enough rounds have been scored.
If a fighter does not answer the bell, the win is credited to the previous round. Retiring on the stool after round two, before round three starts, is a round-two finish for settlement.

No contest after an accidental eye poke early in round one. The match is void.
Scheduled five-round main event changed to three rounds before the walkout. Method and round-total bets are void. The straight winner bet remains.
Fight postponed by three days. Unsettled bets are void because the delay is past 48 hours.
